Learn more♻️ Refill, Reuse, Relight: Celebrate Earth Day with a Candle Refill
This Earth Day, we’re turning glow-up into green-up. At District Candle Lab, we believe beautiful things shouldn’t come at the planet’s expense—which is why we offer a refill option for your used candle vessels (Note: Only vessels that have been purchased at District Candle Lab!). Instead of tossing your empty jar, bring it back to us and have it refilled with your favorite scent—for less waste and a lower fee (bringing your vessel back gets you $5 off for small jars, $8 off for large jars). Here’s how to prep your vessel for a refill: Burn it down until there’s about ½ inch of wax left. Wipe out any remaining liquid wax with a paper towel while still warm. If wax has solidified, carefully pour boiling water into the vessel, let it sit, then scrape out the softened wax (never down the drain! Trash only). Wash the clean vessel with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly. Then just bring it back in, and create something new! Whether you're refilling an old favorite blend or trying something new, this small act helps reduce single-use waste and keep our planet glowing. ✨ Reuse your jar. Reduce your impact. Relight your favorite scent. ✨ 🌱 Why Do We Use Soy Wax?Soy wax is a renewable, biodegradable alternative to paraffin. It burns cleaner, lasts longer, and is made from American-grown soybeans—making it a more sustainable choice for your home and the Earth.
